In this project, the task was to create a captivating drone photo of a new medical building at dusk, emphasizing the impressive lighting installed by our client. The goal was to highlight the building's lighting in the enchanting ambiance of a sunset. However, the sky on the night of the shoot didn’t live up to expectations, lacking the desired dramatic effect. To address this, post-production expertise was utilized to replace the original sky with the stunning one you see in the image below.

Sky Swap #2
In this instance, the challenge was to enhance an aerial drone photo that originally featured a mundane blue sky. To elevate the visual appeal of the image, the plain sky was replaced with a more dynamic one, enriched with clouds. This subtle alteration significantly increased the interest and depth of the aerial photograph.
Sky Swap #3 + Digital Enhancement
Faced with the imminent demolition of the Veterans Memorial Bridge connecting Covington, KY and Newport, KY, the construction company sought to capture its historical significance before its replacement with a new 4-lane bridge. The challenge? To create a striking image that highlighted the bridge's location near the Covington and Cincinnati skylines, preserving its memory in a visually impactful manner.
The solution to this challenge was to photograph the bridge at night, intending to contrast its structure against a vibrant sunset. However, on the night of the shoot, subpar lighting conditions and a lackluster sunset threatened the impact of the final image. To address this, advanced digital enhancement techniques were employed to intensify specific areas of the image, dramatically improving the lighting, and a sky swap was preformed, replacing the dull sky with a vivid, colorful sunset. This approach not only met but exceeded the original objective, transforming a standard photo into an evocative and memorable visual.
The transformation is evident in the "before" and "after" photos below. The enhanced image now powerfully conveys the bridge's significance, set against an awe-inspiring backdrop.
